Hi All,
Just wanted to share something with anyone who had weight gain after bariatric surgery. I had weight gain years after surgery and went on a physician supervised liquid diet. I honeslty felt so disappointed in myself for the weight gain, I thought surgery was the my cure. After the weight gain I was depressed. Finally I decided to do something about it. I went on the liquid diet. Within a week after seeing the scale move, my hope and motivation returned. I returned to the same weight loss clinic I had pre surgery. They made me feel welcome and gave me hope. The group has been my anchor. This week after losing more inches and pounds than I would ever believe in a short period of time I was presented my badge of courage. The group leader had the Program Director Jen attend & call me to the head of the class, shook my hand and presented me with a dog tag that read "Honor, Courage and Committment from North Star Medical" The group applauded. I felt so special. They run the group in bootcamp style. It was awesome. I put the tag on my keychain and it gives me a reminder of my current success. Thank you NS Medical for making my day! I now realize no matter how you lose the weight lifestyle changes need to be made. Good luck to all, and may you reach all your goals.
